Rants And Ramblings

Life imitates art?

I was doing a daily run over the usual forums I’m active at and I noticed one post discussing Jack thompson and his defense against violence. It seemed everyone disagreed with him and thought that since people kill people, why should we make any attempt to stop it? I’m no supporter of the big J.T., but I don’t think just leaving people to do whatever they please is right. We do have to make some effort to hinder the violent acts man inflicts upon himself. My idea doesn’t mean “remove all video games and everything else which allows us to express ourselves”. The topic is coming from the same forum that gave us this genius, Bush hater. That forum seems to be thriving with imbeciles.

Anyway, I’m going off-topic. As I was reading the post, I saw this response:

[…]murder has exist in every single aspect of life i guess in the futer it will be legal to kill with a permit.

A permit to kill? Does anyone even want me to break down how rediculously idiotic that is? Has someone been watching too much James Bond? The legal system would never hand out permits to ordinary citizens to give them permission to kill another human being. I don’t think I should keep explaining this, I’m sure you all are saying to yourself right now, “what the hell is that person thinking!?”. Well don’t worry, I’m with you.

Put an end to stupidity!

Do you have to take a course for this permit? What if it would be a legitimate kill? Population control, ya know…

The cigarette companies have this permit…I want one too.
